Clergy Discipline
Title IV of The Episcopal Church’s canons details the grounds and process for ecclesiastical discipline. Those are fancy church words for “how we follow up on allegations of clergy misconduct.”
Title IV is a church-wide structure to address claims that Deacons, Priests, or Bishops may have engaged in conduct constituting an offense under the Canons and encourages accountability, justice, reconciliation, restoration and pastoral responses.
If you would like to report an incident, please email us or call Bishop Elizabeth directly. You deserve to be heard and the process offers everyone an opportunity to tell their story.
